Giving Back Through Golf
Creating Opportunities for Young Golfers
More than 300 children in and around Lincoln, Nebraska have been given the opportunity to participate in golf through financial-aid scholarships.
Dave Malone and his coaches prioritize teaching rules, etiquette, discipline, emotional management, self-confidence, respect for others, and golf skills—all while making the experience fun. Dave is very pleased that so many young golfers who otherwise may not have had this opportunity are able to participate in the Pine Lake Junior Golf Academy.
With financial support from the PGA of America and local donors, we are able to support children from under-resourced communities and cover the costs associated with participation.
Youth development organizations we have supported over the years include:
- Family Service Lincoln
- Malone Community Center
- Boys & Girls Club
- CEDARS Home for Children
- Lancaster County 4-H Club
- Nebraska Children and Families
- Big Brothers Big Sisters
